Grin I am sure a while back a friend of mine mentioned using hemorrhoid cream on the face as an anti wrinkle cream.

I am sure I didnt dream this.Confused

Anyway - just wanted to know if anyone else has actually used the stuff on their face and what was the outcome?

This reminds me of when I worked in a pharmacy for a summer job and the pharmacist used to tell me that 'old ladies' used H cream on their faces as it thins the skin.

I definitely wouldn't try it myself!

I thought it was used under eyes to shrink bags?

Sounds like a Pile of nonsense to me....and if it really does thin the skin thats even more bonkers.

I think it has been mentioned to reduce dark circles under eyes.. I don't think it would do anything for wrinkles unless they are on -your anus Grin

Ah that must be the catch - thinning the skin! Hmm.

I may be getting desperate here about my ever increasing wrinkles but not quite desperate enough to thin my skin!

It does work but the effect is very temporary, the local anaesthetic plumps the skin slightly.

I remember reading about this in a cosmo maybe 15 years ago. It does what topsi says.

Apparently it only works with the Canadian Preparation H as it contains Biodyne and that is the magic ingredient that is said to do the trick. The UK version doesn't contain the magic ingredient.

I once tried anusol and it was better than Beauty Flash Balm. But the effects only lasted an hour or two.

I understand it works by shrinking the underlying blood vessels so taking away that bruised look.
