M&S School jumpers and cardigans...

Any good? Cotton or cotton mix? Your views are most welcome. The ones we have are fine for now, but won't see out the winter - due to size and/or DS's inability to not have holes in all his jumpers (WTF is he doing at school?). DD in midst of massive growth spurt and cardy will look stupidly short soon.

I have a great discount and free delivery with M&S so want to give a try, but not had chance to examine in store, my nearest M&S is some way away, and wondered what quality was like and also, which fabric is the best to stand the test of time and my washing machine??

Cheers, ladies.

Hi,

I buy M&S school jumpers but i go for the wool ones. They don't stretch, shrink or fade wash after wash. Best ones i have found.

Hope this helps :-)

Thanks for your input.

I looked at the wool ones, but the reviews this year on the M&S site said they all got holes under the arms and quality not as good as last years.... Wool blend sounded fantastic, til I read these

Yep, they're fab and wash really well without losing their shape. DS wears these ones and DD has the same, but the cardigans. I've bought them for the last 3 years or so and think they're great. In fact, apart from the sleeves being slightly too short, DD can still get away with wearing her cardi from last year!

I got the 100% cotton ones. Much thinner than last year so not sure how well they will wash and wear. last year they lasted the whole school year (two cardigans for one child).

I might order a couple of different types, can always send some back!

Thanks for your help.
