Well I don't have short short hair as a fat person but that is me. I think that longer hair provides a counterbalance for my arse.

But strange topic anyway. Why not ask:
Anorexics and Cowboy boots
or
Freckly people with thongs.

= depends on all sorts of other factors including face shape, hair colour and etc etc.

FallingWithStyle · 16/09/2010 10:06

Shit, I'm rubbish at Algebra... 71?

FallingWithStyle · 16/09/2010 10:11

I have a vision of Pauline Quirk in Birds of a Feather.

wastingaway · 16/09/2010 10:18

Anne Diamond is the best I can come up with. Hmm

Paulne Quirke <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.eadt.co.uk/polopoly_fs/sue_quirke_birds_55_1_550211!image/2829460003.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_225/2829460003.jpg&imgrefurl=www.eadt.co.uk/news/features/my_days_with_birds_of_a_feather_1_550217&usg=__eSP4uncM2F9ugGlR9JufVEnTYY8=&h=318&w=225&sz=42&hl=en&start=108&sig2=ClEHhHoL1Q9tzRycb0Xqsg&zoom=1&tbnid=eqrZMOPOmoXb0M:&tbnh=167&tbnw=118&ei=p-CRTL2FIcKSjAfLxcmUBQ&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpauline%2Bquirke%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D647%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C3006&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=858&vpy=282&dur=1328&hovh=254&hovw=180&tx=125&ty=76&oei=K-CRTOnPOoSsOIjfrJYH&esq=16&page=7&ndsp=16&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:108&biw=1280&bih=647" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">wasn't that fat in Birds of a Feather.

Or dyed red funky spiky hair + woman of a certain age (think Sharon Osborne).

ShadeofViolet · 16/09/2010 10:26

She wasnt slim though <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.tvdvdboxsets.co.uk/images/birdsofafeather2.jpg&imgrefurl=www.tvdvdboxsets.co.uk/birdsofafeather.htm&h=413&w=600&sz=61&tbnid=0SmF22UzEQMhwM:&tbnh=93&tbnw=135&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbirds%2Bof%2Ba%2Bfeather&zoom=1&q=birds+of+a+feather&hl=en&usg=__yOUmyfsW6JWMcol9k-Civc6ovrw=&sa=X&ei=l-KRTIPoL8Hg4AbA3LmOBA&ved=0CD8Q9QEwBQ" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">look!

But rather short hair and large than looking like Doreen Green!

wastingaway · 16/09/2010 10:28

Puppy, you're right of course, but there is a level of fatness where the face is simply shaped 'fat'.

OP posts:
nowherewoman · 16/09/2010 10:42

If you're fat, you're fat, hair length doesn't change that. However if your face shape suits short hair, you will look better than you would with a style that doesn't suit you. Anyone of any weight looks better with a good haircut than with hair that is long for the sake of being long.

wastingaway · 16/09/2010 11:26

Well, I think Audrey Hepburn hair may require an Audrey Hepburn face. Meh.

OP posts:
BusyMissIzzy · 16/09/2010 15:40

I've had short hair for years (have stupidly thick, coarse hair), and I know that when I'm slimmer, I can get away with it being very short. When I've been bigger, if it's too short, I think a look a bit... butch. There, I said it.
