And they are lush! V comfy, v warm, and sufficiently different from Uggs for me not to have to slink about in them.

Only thing I don't like is that the straps are necessarily of a different leather than the sheepskin of the boots, and a slightly different tone, though I think they will darken.

A keeper, definitely, though I don't think I'll risk them in heavy rain.

Oooh, they're nice! They look narrow around the calf - are they? Any way of adjusting?

see here

I'd never get these in those. Or would I? Please measure calf pleasey?

TwasEverThus · 15/09/2010 14:16

No adjustment, no ....

But ...

...my calf is a stonking 47cm at the thickest part (disclaimer - a bodged-up rupture of my Achilles tendon has left something like a small melon attached to the back of my left leg) AND THEY FIT!!

Hmm I think mine are more like a 44 but I can usually only get boots from places like Duo. I have not yet ventured into Ugg territory, but need some winter booty type things...

treedelivery · 15/09/2010 22:37

Oh I don't know if I dare measure.....

They are lovelyEnvy

I have 2 pairs of celtic sheepskin boots, they are so comfy. Mine are the plain ones, in 'spice' and dark brown.

I was considering another pair this year but seem to have spent an inordinate amount of money on a tent and all that goes with itHmm

I had my eye on the ones with the furry top. I'm sure they would have looked stupid anyway.

I bought the Toscana boots, which are FAB, have had them for 2 years and still as new, but i never wear them in the rain...

looking forward to getting them out now.

Chandon · 16/09/2010 09:35

sorry Saurus, I mean, they do look really stupid, not fab at all with leggings or skinny jeans, not fab at all.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 16/09/2010 13:15

Envy Chandon, those are the exact ones I have been drooling over looking at.

I think DH might kill me if I bought themGrin Camping is great and all that but boots...
