"boyfriend" jeans = only for frumps? discuss

unless you are a whispy 6 foot model looking dreamy, on a bike in a catalgoue i suggest that boyfriend jeans are pretty dull style wise.
they make the wearer look shapeless and butch and are the tracksuit bottoms of the denum world.

Not frumpy at all. I love them with tight fitting tops and trainers, or converse. I also wear skinnies usually with looser tops.

Would never wear boot cut - now they're frumpy!

Boot cut are having a renaissance - I bought a pair of nudie very slim boot cuts and they are lovely.

I don't consider for one second that I am in any way stylish, but I love, love, love my boyfriend jeans.

I would never have considered them, but my friend always wore them and I thought she looked kind of cool, so I'd try them. I wear with tight tops (vest tops if it is warm enough) and trainers. I have huge boobs, so if I wore a tight top with anything else I'd look like a slut, this way I get to show off my boobs but don't look like I am trying too hard.

Then again, I wear bootcut jeans too... I really can't do skinny jeans, my calves are big in proportion to the rest of me.

Actually traceybath, I concede those are actually quite nice but only because they are really quite skinny
