What boots do I need this winter? And what to wear them with?

For day, last year I wore mostly dresses, leggings/opaque tights, leather jacket and bikerish boots. Or tunic tops, skinny jeans and knee-high boots.

What should I wear this year? Has everything changed?

hope things havent changed too much as you have just described my wardrobe.

I think that flat knee high boots are still fine with skinnies but heeled ones are too liz macdonald.

im still looking for good boots to wear with what you described, after living in my uggs last winter, wanted something bit smarter and leather instead of suede.

I've ordered these in purple. Don't know what I'll wear them with though, so that's not much help.

I'm sure I read somewhere that's it's calf-length boots now. I dunno. Any experts got the answer ...? Don't want to shell out and then feel frumpy.

I'd love a pair of calf-length boots but my budget definitely won't stretch so I'll be proudly wearing my knee high boots with skinnies, leggings, skirts/dresses and tights! One shape fits all for me
