Socks that dont fluff, please????

Title says it all.
I have tried several different brands of plain black socks, but to no avail. They ALL fluff. Had forgotten this until wearing a pair a couple of days ago, go up to bed to get changed, damned fluff all over the carpet/rug/bed... Grrrr.

I have tried M&S, John Lewis and Tesco. All crap! I tend to go for pure cotton, would it make a difference if I had a mixed fabric?

I've just bought myself the boden socks and they are lovely, no fluff and have washed nicely. Wish they would do black ones, sometime stripy socks are not appropriate.

Do we think its a black sock thing? other half always used to wear black socks and the fluff would drive me crazy, didnt matter if they were from asda or m&s I'm sure its stopped since i started buying him grey socks or do i just not notice it.
