lovely shoes - bargain or bad buy?

I've fallen in love with a pair of platform sole high heel mary janes in a camel-y colour I spotted in a boutique sale. Thing is - has the platform sole moment passed or if it's a good design/brand is it timeless and worth the £££?

Platform sole definitely will pass (although I think still ok) but will always come around again. It depends how much you like them, I think. I always keep my shoes and they often come around again.

I do like a platform sole, generally go for the hidden type that are less obvious although love a high heel

They are hidden platform so I thought maybe not so obviously passe for a while yet? 4.5 yo DD has a serious imelda complex going on already, so am thinking she would love them as vintage designer hand me downs when she's older. i'm size 3.5/4 as are my mum & gran so am guessing she will at least pass through that size at some point!
