Is that the right name for them?

the ones that are like stockings but with the sticky bits round the top?

Where do I get them? So far I've only found nasty looking thin ones or tacky ones.

I hate tights BTW.

thanks Smile

I get mine from the Autograph range at M&S. Much nicer than wearing tights!

ta.

Still can't find what I really want which is opaques in a colour (not too bright).
Maybe with a pattern?

I've always got mine from M&S

moragbellingham · 09/09/2010 14:55

some of these at my tights are nice. Do you want sheer or opaque?

a couple of good ones on my tights ...but I don't think I can bring myself to spend £20 on a pair of hold ups.

do the expensive ones really last better? I usual end up snaggin them on a boot zip or something.

I see what you mean about the colours - black is easy!

moragbellingham · 09/09/2010 15:13

stockings direct Hallelujah!

I would defo pay £7.50 for Gipsy berry of £11.50 for the transparenze ones (when I was working!)

I like searching.
It's a bit like window shopping and safer for the credit cardWink.

muddleduck · 09/09/2010 15:37

what I'd really love is something like these in hold ups...

yummy

I like those. Many years ago hold-ups were really popular - what happened.
Or were they just popular with me?

I know people that wear tights under trousers WTF????

Sainsburys do plain black opaques and possibly other colours they also do blac patterns.

They are suprisingly good quality although the hold up bit is plain and fairly narrow.
