I've ordered some stuff from Debenhams for our holiday on Sunday (some nail polish, mascara and bits for dd) When I checked out (on Saturday) it said it'd be delivered in 2-5 days. Now though I keep getting update emails and only one thing has been dispatched (they told me Monday) and it has still not arrived.

Anyone ordered from the recently and have any idea if I should just cancel and try and get to a rl shop?

I've emailed customer services but customer service doesn't seem to be their strong point.

I've had problems every time I've orderd from Debenhams, its either taken ages, the wrong tning has been sent or not turned up. Last time I orderd it didn't come and I rang their customer services person who looked on the system and said the order had been cancelled as they didn't have it in stock. But then she said it was back in stock and would I like to reorder it. Hmm

i ordered monday evening an had a delivery yesterday from a courier which i then had to sign for

They are notoriously shite, I'm afraid.

Everything comes seperately. I only order from them in extreme cases (like a good sale item).
Things that are showing instock sometimes don't arrive at all.

They are OK at replacing lost things though for when couriers have left them in bins!

I agree, the one time I ordered from them had to wait 2 weeks- shocking delivery times!

I haven't found them too bad, I ordered Monday evening and received my order this morning by courier.

On a related note, Debelhams are lousy when it comes to returns. I have stopped ordering from them precisely for this reason. I always prefer to return in-store since I work full-time and it's difficult to arrange a courier pick-up. The store staff often are quite stroppy - I have had reasons like "this is a sale item, you can only exchange" (Distance Selling Regulations!) or "we dont stock this range in this store so we wont take it back".
