HIgh Waisted skinny jeans - Yay or Nay?

I bought this pair fromNext but can't make up my mind about them, they do seem very comfortable and hold me in where Ineed it. What should I wear with them though? The last time I wore a top tucked into my jeans was in my twenties, so I don;t know if, ast the grand iold age of 38, I should be doing this (muffin top and saddlebags btw)

I bought a pair of high waisted skinnies a couple of years ago from Primarni, they were great. I still wore tunics etc, but didn't have to worry about them falling down, and there was no bulge that normally occurs with lowrise jeans

I've got a topshop pair and they're great but I would never wear a top tucked in.

Would never wear a top tucked in, I'm a size 16. Love them because they get rid of muffin top and baby belly overhang, but wear them with long line tshirts or tunics. Would never consider high waisted jeans before baby, but 6 month's post pregnancy I love them!

I would tuck in - but have boyfriend cardi/jacket over it too - unbuttoned.
I've been swithering whether to order these for ages now - can't be arsed paying P&P for just one item - but they don't have any in the stores.
I got the high waisted boot cut and they are soooooooo comfy and flattering.

I have these jeans from Next on order (3 wk wait in my size) - Are they a flattering fit and tru to size? I am 5ft and a size 10 and have ordered the petite size 10. I plan to wear them with a fitted stripy top tucked in and boots for day. If I dare, I will be wearing for an evening out with a pussy bow blouse tucked in a high heels

ebojones, I usually find that Next jeand are not good on me, as I have a waist, albeit with a muffin top, and saddlebags, but these jeans did feel very comfortable, and true to what I would say was my "normal" size. Hope you like them when you get them, and I'm feeling quite chuffed that, for once, us in the Highlands of Scotland actually had something in stock for once

I just tried to see if my local (London) had them instock.
No such luck.
Had such a job trying to explain that no, I didn't want to order and buy four pairs to order to my home for the pleasure of trying them on.

I think they look perfect though.

I asked if they could order for me but they checked and said no. She said they put them in the window and all sold out that day - even the pair in the window!

I shall put in my online order and just wait. I'm sure I can find something else to order to make the most of my P&P charge.

The waiting starts now................for a few weeks I guess.

I ordered these in July and eventually returned them- they fit well but I just felt my boobs were to close to the waistband
I NEVER tuck things in.

My pair arrived today - much less of a wait than I was expecting. Very please with them. The high waist it flattering and not overly high like some jeans I have tried. Definitely keeping these. What footwear do people think look best with them?

I like the idea of a high heeled shoe boot but in reality I'll be tucking them into long, flat timberlands/bikers and Ugg type things.

They finally arrived today!
Am very happy with mine.

The buttonholes are rubbish and will annoy me no end as they are badly finished and stringy.
Overall though, they fit perfectly.

I know I'll be tempted to iron the pockets flat at some point!
