Where on earth can I find narrow fitting winter boots for DD aged 11?

Poor thing is going to find shoe and boot shopping a nightmare in years to come Sad

She has incredibly skinny legs (as in jodphurs are very baggy on her!), narrow ankles and long, narrow size 5 feet.

Did a quick search today and found a few sites, but they were all pretty pricey. Can anyone help?

My 8 and 6 year old girls have very narrow feet and evey year, I try in vain to get them winter boots, I have tried all shops and so far, the only one that fits is Startrite. Not all style, usually just have 1 style that fits perfectly. Though over £34 approx. but worth it as they need their winter boots.

Depending on your budget I would say its def worth trying a shop that sells continental brands as they seem to fit totally differently than British ones like Clarks. They are also usually more specialised so have a good idea on what brands fit different shaped feet/legs etc...HTH Smile

Ah, R and B - I'd forgotten about them. Yes, will definitely try there. I've also just had a look at the Startrite website and realised that some of their boots go up to size 5, which is great. I'll also check out the continental shoe stockists - good idea.

I did look at the Duo website, and much as I adore my DD, she is not getting a pair of £150 boots!

Zara kids go up to a size 5 and they have some nice boots which might be slim enough as Spanish sizes generally a bit slimmer than UK.

You could have a look on their new website to get an idea.

I got a slim fitting pair from Jones for DD last winter. They go up to a 5.
