Despite being here for the last 3 years or so, I haven't felt like a proper fully paid up member of the community until now.

This morning I completed the last stage of my Mumsnet apprenticeship and placed my first Boden order. Grin

It's a slippery slope Congratulations!

What did you order?

YourCallIsImportant · 08/09/2010 09:46

I ordered two of these for my holiday next month. One in pine and one in pink.

I am nervous as I recognise it as the thin end of the wedge Grin.

Dietcoke - I often get that feeling with Boden stuff, it's sort of nearly really really nice but....

I always end up keeping things though

YourCallIsImportant · 08/09/2010 09:52

Ruby I had to start with something small, didn't want to go straight into the heavy stuff right away.

Me neither pag.

In fact I'm what you could call a conscientious objector to all things Johnnie.

onadietcokebreak · 08/09/2010 09:59

A couple of friends say they like it...Im not not sure it doesnt like plastic..

pop satchel

Not over keen on the clothes but those Camisoles look nice. Boden wouldnt fit me- I have a huge bum and boobs!

anonymousbird · 08/09/2010 09:59

DONT MAKE ME LOOK AT THEIR SITE.

No, don't, please. I am too nosy not to check your link, and once you make me look, I will need to look further and further and.... STOP NOW!

Euphemia - 'tis a bit like that round here. Blush. I'm embarrassed even to admit that I live in such a place, let alone that in fact I have had that very thought. I mentally "Tut" every time I see one. It's like a metronome in my head.

YourCallIsImportant · 08/09/2010 09:59

I'm with you Bunny. I hate Johnnie.

mistressploppy · 08/09/2010 10:06

Arrgh, my eyes - Yourcall, that was uncalled-for Grin

Mingg · 08/09/2010 10:41

Boden - such rubbish...

ebojones · 08/09/2010 11:08

Mistress... you are right...Boden stuff for women is nearly nice... I buy stuff for DD and DS from there and like the quality. For me, I stick to the plain stuff... order pattern stuff, hang it in my wardrobe, can't bear the sight of it and return the following day. This season, I have bought the silver boyfriend cardigan.
The trouble with Boden is that it does make me feel like I am slipping in to middle age (am 34!!)
