Coat for a six month old boy. Corduroy?

My DS2 has done incredibly well with the hand-me-downs, and hasn't really needed much in the way of anything - but his brother and the other babies he's inherited stuff from were all born in different seasons to him, and as a result there doesn't seem to be a coat in any of the collections of stuff we've got that will fit him in this winter.

So I thought it would be nice to buy him something lovely of his very own - would even be prepared to spend a bit of money on something really nice, but haven't seen anything yet. I'd like a coat not an all-in-one, something soft and not too stiff, and not that bloody pastel blue that infects all baby boy clothes. Maybe that lovely soft baby cord, or moleskin or something?

I liked the look of this, but a) it's sold out in his size and b) the reviews say it's a girly purple colour rather than grey (has anyone seen it to know whether that's true or not?). There's a mini-Boden one here, but it's a bit boring, and a bit Bodeny - I just don't love it.

So have any of you seen anything really lovely I can hunt down?

Ooh, I like the Mothercare one. Looks maybe a bit bulky? But definitely one to investigate, thanks.
