Black trousers

I want to buy a decent pair of black trousers. I have 2 pairs at the moment and one is too big and too long and the other could have done with being 1/2 a size bigger. I know I need to get the right size but I want a pair that make me feel good as these 2 don't and the ones that did were ones I bought in M&S in 2004 so I doubt they still do them.

Nothing can replace the investment of a carefully planned trawl up the high street trying on every pair in every shop. Wear the right shoes and an appropriate top and don't come home until you have bought some.

Mine came from Hobbs. I think they were about the 8th pair i tried on.

phase 8 ones, principles and gap true straight were great for me- may be, have a look and see how they fit you?

I went in to a concession Phase 8 today and bought my very first item from them. It is a grey woollen dress but I will be wearing trousers or jeans under it as I have awful legs.

I haven't been in gap for years and principles has gone from near us.

"Flatters your curves?" What curves, she looks a size 8! I wish retailers used all different seizes of women to model their clothes.

They do look lovely trousers but I will have to go in to try them on in real life. Thanks for the link.
