Wide legged trousers???

We hardly ever go out, SIl has offered to babysit this saturday. I have a pair of wide legged pale pink trousers I have never worn, but do you think they are a bit out of date looking.
I am just so out of touch and these trousers are quite comfortable. I don't even know what style of trousers are really in(drainpipes makes me look like I have short chicken drumstick legs)
Any advice

Yeah I agree about wearing a shorter top actually.
Wedge sandals sound good.
A white short sleeved little t-shirt will be fine
What colour are the sandals?

PS hope you have a great night.

It's your 1st time out in ages. Stuff fashion & wear what makes you feel good.

IMO, we all look best in what suits us, not what the fashion magazines tell us we should be wearing.

Hope you really enjoy your night out, whatever you choose

Thanks Thomscat, my sandals are black - but they are strappy and the only ones I have with a heel.
Magscat I will try on a few things tomorrow, I just don't want to feel mumsy and frumpy and old!!.
But I know what you mean and wish I had worn what actually suited me when I was younger and not tried so hard to be fashionable. I have some really embarassing eighties photos

Snurk.. still very useful actually. Unfortunately dd's are not quite the right size anymore.
Shading is a really good idea , botox would be much better- wonder if eggwhite under my makeup may have the same effect
