Where do you buy gold charms? Tried Links- not v inspiring tbh, so am now looking for the alternatives to Tiffany and Cartier.

Thanks!

Links definitely do gold charms - lots on their website.

Pandora??

Paribus · 06/09/2010 22:54

Nancydrewrocked, sorry, I meant to say I just didn't like Links charms, not that Links doesn't have gold charms at all... It's just their silver ones are really nice, whereas gold ones...umm... leave much to be desired ;-).

chocolateme, thanks, will have a look!!!

Visit your local jewellers.
To be quite honest not a lot of places are stocking them right now because the price of gold is so high.
A gold horseshoe charm which would have been £40 a year ago is now retailing at £95 and over.
If I'm perfectly honest (as a jeweller) you are not going to get your moneys worth anytime soon. Especially not if you're looking for something modern.
Traditional charms tend to be found at HM Samuels and the like- but beware of those prices!!

This company have some more unusual charms, all of them used to be available in gold & silver. Worth asking if there was one you liked in silver - they were very helpful when I wanted a bespoke piece.

nothing on Pandora web-site which can be attached to the chain charm bracelet.. sad, as some of the charms there are really quite nice.

Bethjeff, thanks, will try to find smth locally- any suggestions for London?

CornishKK, thank you, will browse now ;-).
