Fly boots - will they stretch - even a little??

I tried them on and JUST got the zip up to the top. But too tight for comfort really.

Will they stretch - even a little - and I'd buy them.

Are the patent ones slacker or more likely to stretch than the leather?

IME yes although you may have to suffer for a wee while - alternatively you could buy those boot stretcher thingys?
