which orla kiely bag?

I love these two bags and have just had a comission payment that for once is unspent before i even get it, so want to treat myself to a bag other than the ubiquitous Mulberry or Miumiu that i would nomrally go for.

and agian not sure on colour, either nutmeg or walnut the other one is too pale.

They are sooo lovely.

I would get walnut as I think the nutmeg is possibly a bit too orangey.

I would get burdock rather than ivy as, firstly, it is bigger and, secondly, I think the massive flap on the ivy would annoy me and I would fail to close it and would walk round with the bag gaping open.

I am - they are truly gorgeous.

My mum has the burdock from last year and it is lovely, very similar but with flowers instead of the stem print pattern. It is a gorgeouse bag.

I think if I was getting it I would would go for the walnut.

my gut instinct is burdock in walnut for the reasons you say here, i think the flap would eventually annoy me, and the darker colour would be more practical especially with winter coming up.

I prefer the Ivy in Walnut out of the two but I love the Tea Rose colour for a change.

Not a very practical colour though.

I don't like the burdock as I'm always coming across opportunistic purse thieves!

now if i could only afford both! i would like the matching purse as well. i prfer open top bags and i usually have them clamped under my arm pit anyway, i'm not a devotee of the wag bag hold. (in the crook of your arm)

I prefer the Ivy in nutmeg.
