Cos if I see another charcoal or black pair of trousers, with a bootleg type cut, I think I shall pass out.

What are good trousers to wear for work this autumn?

I feel your pain. I hate trousers, I find a pair once every five years that look ok on me (prefer skirts but sometimes it's just so much easier not to have to find tights etc in the mornings) and don't have ANY at the moment, going back to work soon so will need some.
Monsoon have some wool mix ones in various tweedy type colours that you can machine wash, but no idea what they look like on. I refuse to buy trousers that can't go in the washing machine, I just think it's ick. I wouldn't wear dry clean only tights :( I also refuse to wear 100% polyester trousers they are just too vile.

So I was no help. Zara and Warehouse had some nice looking work stuff last time I was there, but don't know about trousers?
