La Brasiliana Keratin hair treatment

I'm thinking of having the La Brasiliana keratin hair treatment and wanted to get some opinions. My hair is thick and curly and I spend too long using GHDs on it and would love to be able to pretty much wash and wear. Any experiences?

Hi, there's loads and loads of thread on here about this, so have a search through them..

Here's one to start you off:

That said, it sounds as if you have hair like mine and I suspect that if you're hoping it will straighten your hair to the extent that you will not have to GHD it, this treatment won't do that, the only thing that will do that is the Japanese straightening process. What the Brazilian Keratin treatment will do is make your hair softer, in better condition, shinier and reduce the frizz. It will also soften the curl. What it won't do is make your hair completely straight.

Anyway, have a read through as I'm sure everything you need to know is there.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks sansucre. I might start with the braziliana and then depending on the results, try the Japanese treatment.
I dream of a life without Frizz! As mum to a one year old DD I am looking for grooming shortcuts! :)

I went to Paris the other weekend and it was 31degrees.. my hair did not frizz!

And last week, after 5 days of solid rain.. my hair did not frizz!!

Am not bothered that I still need to run the GHDs through it, for me, it wasn't about having completely straight hair but about having hair that was like actual hair and far more manageable!

I look forward to hearing what you think about it - good luck :)

I've purchased a bottle la brasiliana keratin but i've found really negative feedback about it online. It was really expensive so i'm torn whether to try it or not. My hair is already very bleached, i don't want to wake up with a tuft of hair where its broken off!
