Have purchased this Am I going to look like someone in their mid 30's trying way to hard or will I look like a stylish woman.

It is for a wedding which is quite posh.

It is the play suit or this Which I got in a 12 but am swapping for a 10 as their just seems to be loads of fabric and I dont think it hangs right.

Link not working for me...though I am alarmed by the reference to a play suit

JamInMyWellies · 31/08/2010 12:27

Oh god really DH think it looks ok.

the link isn't working for me either, i'm assuming its a trouser suit not shorts, it really depends what you look like (IMO you have you be quite slim and not too busty to look good in one) and how confident you are when wearing it. If you aren't sure about it you might not exude confidence.

I think they can look extremely glamourous with a pair of killer heels.

If you wear it you have to sashay around like a supermodel!!! :-D

sorry I didn't mean to sound so damning! I just hate the phrase because it sounds so ickle-girly.

I think if you and your DH like it (and it's not a long white dress) then you should wear it.

LadySanders · 31/08/2010 12:42

personally, i wouldn't wear any of the playsuits on that page to a wedding esp not a posh one, i think you might feel a bit underdressed? (they're nice though, don't get me wrong, but def holiday wear not occasion)

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 31/08/2010 12:43

Neither link is working for me...

CheeseandGherkins · 31/08/2010 12:44

this?

JamInMyWellies · 31/08/2010 13:00

Oh wonder why my links wont work?

Yes it is that one cheese. I spent a very harrowing 2hrs in bluewater yesterday arvo trying to find something.

I agree with ladysanders, the outfit is v nice to go out in, but not wedding attire!

ilove · 31/08/2010 13:09

Sorry but that is not wedding wear at all!

JamInMyWellies · 31/08/2010 13:13

bollocks! Would it help if I told you although a posho wedding it will be full of young trendy clubbing type people??

I think it will be ok for a wedding. Unless you stand like the model with your legs at funny angles it will just look like a long dress most of the time anyway. Definitely needs high strappy sandal type shoes. If you feel. Agree that you'll only get away with it if you're confident you look good.

dinkystinky · 31/08/2010 13:25

I think it'll look fine for a wedding - all depends on how you dress it up. If it suits you, go for it.
