My Boden cord mini skirts are riding up.Their not lined and I,m wearing thick black tights, so I,m thinking of a garment I last saw on my grandma -a slip.Does any one know if you can buy a really short slip.If not who makes a good 'non-stick' one that I can get shortened.

I bought a short slip at M&S a few years back- think it was length 19 inches- have you looked online?

I can utterly empathise- I have just sold my Boden velvet skirt on Ebay as I was so sick of it riding up and felt trussed up like a chicken with 3 layers round my waist- thick tights, slip and skirt.

I will never buy unlined winter skirts again.

I wish Boden would take note- ther has been loads of feedback about this in previous years in the reviews.

I have a mini-skirt length petticoat from M&S. Can't go wrong with a good old M&S undergarment.

Ooh I will try a slip - I too have a Boden cord miniskirt that is beaut but keeps riding up. Someone said to my DH last time I wore it: "You can tell your wife is a cyclist, look at those thighs" Angry

I was just about to give it to Oxfam but will have one last try with a slip ... I don't want to buy a new one but I have a "flippy" short one. Smile
