... any one seen one?

It's for after swimming- wrap the DDs up in cotton robes with a packet of raisins each while I get dressed, then they're warm and dry. Polyester just won't do! I've tried White Co, Boden, John lewis- no luck so far.

What about those terry-towelling poncho things?

pinkcarnations · 30/08/2010 21:28

Vertbaudet? we have these ones.

FGM · 30/08/2010 21:34

Pink- I had a bad experience w Vertbaudet so would ideally like to be able to buy from high street instead.

Sparkly- where do you find the ponchos?

(I think I'd prefer the robes for the DDs after swimming so it's snuggly round their tummies rather than flappy with cold air when they're wet IYSWIM.)

We had white co one last season and it was 100% cotton, this season they are all micro fleece. GPs got her a lovely towelling dress that is all cotton, we use it after swimming lessons, I will try and find the website and link.

FGM · 30/08/2010 21:37

happily- we have last season's cotton ones and they were great but now outgrown...

awaiting link!

I have a striped poncho with a hood from Ikea we use after swimming.

Have the White Co stopped doing their cotton velour dressing gowns? Bugger :( Took me ages to find that last year and it's getting a bit snug

MixedNutPlate · 30/08/2010 21:43

FGM what about here?

Lionstar · 30/08/2010 21:44

Try JoJo Maman Bebe

MixedNutPlate · 30/08/2010 21:45

ah ditto Lula

FGM · 30/08/2010 21:53

how did I ever miss TowelsRUs? Grin

That's the best so far, although I'd love one a wee bit prettier...

Biscuit- White Co are doing polyester robes instead- they are fluffier and lighter- just crap at sucking the water off a chilly wriggly post-swim toddler.

Ahh just checked while on phone to mum, it was from a homeware website in January sale, she seems to think it was ' really Linda barker' website. It is really thick and absorbant, I can't see anything like that on that site now though.

lulabellamozerella · 30/08/2010 22:19

Cath Kidston?
again??

Habbibu · 30/08/2010 22:22

JoJo 100% cotton. DD has the blue one and it's lovely.

Contra · 30/08/2010 22:22

I got mine for 2 for £6 in somewhere like Morrison's or SAinsbury's.

Poncho things. Really rather good.

Franup · 30/08/2010 22:27

I've found them in john lewis in the past. They only make them for boys it would seem... But got white for dds.

FGM · 31/08/2010 19:05

I've ordered the JojoMB one -thanks Habbibu.

Franup I'll look out for the boys ones next time I'm in JL.
