Wrap- is it any good or overpriced?
Might start a new thread. I had a catalogue from them years ago and wasn't impressed but they have some nice knitwear at the mo- but nothing under £69.

Any codes anyone?

No idea - but am curious about opinions and codes too. They do have some lovely cardis.

very expensive but the stuff I have is good quality
worth waiting for the sale

I find their stuff is a bit slouchy for my slouchy body
suits tall willowy types

loads of stuff nice atm though

Poor quality IME, I ordered some things in the sale and one of the tops arrived damaged.

I find it's a bit hit and miss but mostly good now I know what to expect - after trial and error I've now got it right. Sizing can be a bit weird at times but I think generally it comes up a wee bit big. I'm a pear shaped 16 and a 16 is normally a 16! I size up or down according to the look I want. (ie for layers, or whatever.) I think it's all about shopping for your body type. I think the quality is generally good and it has more style than Boden, less than Toast. Priced similarly - more than Boden, less than Toast. It is a bit overpriced though, and everything says to handwash (even cotton!), altho I put in my w/machine on the handwash cycle and it's been fine.

I bought from them about 8 years ago and thought it was a bit old/granyish for me; have been told they hired a new designer about 2 years ago to give it a more youthful feel.

Generally, I like. Agree, sale stuff is great, got a nice jacket in the spring which was half price. Bargainous!

I was eyeing g up the knitwear too, agree it's quite expensive

aquavit · 31/08/2010 12:38

I have this and it is just gorgeous (got one at full price and didn't feel too ripped off, but ordered another in the sale)

they are very long in the body which suits me just fine

think some of their stuff is VERY frumpy though

carefulwiththataxe · 31/08/2010 17:27

Just got their catalogue and quite like.....

No codes then??

purplepeony · 31/08/2010 17:38

They have lovely models and lovely images/settings but do the clothes look as good on a wet november day in suburbia is my question.

I'd have to love ther alpaca sweaters and cardis as you can get cashmere for that. M&S do a cash boyfriend jumper for £69.

I got some nice linen tops from them in the summer sale but have just binned their winter catalogue. It is all a bit heavy and too drapey for me particularly at that money. It also seems to have gone a bit greeny/brown rather than the smokey blues they had in the summer.

I'm going to give them a miss this time.
