Dd going to hairdressers tomorrow

Currently has bra strap length, dark brown and very thick hair. Curly if left to dry naturally, bit of a wave when blow dried (which we usually do)

She wants it shoulder length with a sweeping fringe, but I'm not sure how well it will stay in a side parting having been centre parted for years

What do your daughters ask for in the salon?
We need inspiration Smile

Dreads actually v appealing
Bloody hair so thick it's a nightmare for her

School residential in a few weeks- she may well come home with naturally occurring dreadlocks Grin

Sweeping fringe sounds nice in theory, but I reckon it will annoy her in practice- she does a lot of dance and won't wear hairbands as she finds them irritating

Dd's hair is mid back length and straight with a full fringe which I trim.

Pixie thats another thing with the fringe- I think I'll struggle to get it to stay back for ballet

Think I might try a shoulder length bob with some layers to thin it out a bit
Maybe shorter layers around the front to frame her face?
