Where to start with accessories?

Hi-

I'm a bit all over the place with how I'm looking at the moment, baby is now 3 months old and I'm about a size bigger than before I got pregnant. That's fine for now, I'm just getting a few autumn bits until I work out if I'm going to stay this size or go back to how I was before.

But- I really want some nice accessories to make me look more interesting! I wear quite straightforward stuff eg. gap jeans, cords sometimes, fairly plainish tops, ballet shoes, flat boots. Any ideas where to start? I guess I'm looking for nice, bit quirky necklaces/bracelets/cuffs erm, earrings maybe (should I ever go out again....) Looking for cheap and cheerful that are maybe quite seasonal for now or more expensive things that will last. I kind of don't know where to start. Thanks!

a nice necklace is a great idea and is a pick-me-up for any outfit: v trendy at the moment but with lastability are Alex Monroe or similar little animal designs.

John lewis has some nice stuff too once you get past all the old lady stuff

Astley clarke is more expensive but some cheaper stuff- sort by price- i really like the purple faceted egg charm £75

Righto, loving that Alex Monroe stuff- thank you for the link.

Hadn't thought of John Lewis, will check out now.

Thanks again!
