Best false eyelashes and false nails for a complete novice!!

Im a bridesmaid on friday and would love to try false nails and eyelashes, never tried either before, and there are hundreds (of each!) out there, so which are the best ones?

For my nails, I want a simple french manicure look, short length, maybe a bit of sparkle but not too much.

For my eyes, im a redhead so have quite fair eyelashes, (wear loads of mascara though) but just thought of something to make my eyes stand out. Im petrified of them coming off though, any tips?

Im a complete novice at this "falsies" lark, please help Grin

MAC eyelashes are fab. Ask for a consultation and they will show you how to do it.

The lauren luke false lashes tutorial on youtube might be helpful.

Tried some false lashes on yesterday, look hideous, so not going for the false lash look!

Bought some false nails from superdrug, made by Cosmopolitan, look nice, short and natural!

Autumndew, my lashes looked hideous because Im so fair, it just looked...bizarre, nothing to do with age though, my mum is 57 and she is wearing some on Friday to the wedding and they look stunning on her, and they are the Girls Aloud ones Grin
