Stripey tights or leggings

I saw a woman the other day wearing fantastic striped woolly tights or leggings - they had fine horizontal stripes in lots of autumnal colours.

WHERE might I get such a thing? Every year I look for stripey tights and every single sodding year I can only find nylon tights in hallowe'en novelty colours.

I'm getting to the stage where I'm thinking I'll have to knit them myself. I wish I'd asked the woman but she was scarily stylish and I look like a midden.

They sound lovely. I know what you mean, I love woolly tights. There are a lot of dedicated tights websites like tightsplease

I know - I've had a bloody good google around, but stripey woolly (or thick cotton) tights seem to be missing. I know they can make them, I've very occasionally seen them on real live people, but where the feck are they buying them?!

One woman told me she'd got hers in Germany, so I even did a search in German. I'm that sad, and I want them that badly.

Woolly leggings would be good too.

I got a pair of grey ones with dark grey and purple stripes in Sainsburys. You are clearly looking in too-posh shops!
