Pink Hunter wellies, turned white and minging.....

has anyone else returned theirs? What happened?

Mine are now white and I resent paying £50 odd for a new pair. Hunter asked me to send them in but not sure I can be bothered. Has anyone done this?

It can't be too much effort to return them can it? You will most likely get a new pair from them if they are faulty.

Both my DDs have pink hunters and they turned horrible and white.

Didnt think about sending them back-wish I had!!

When DD2 grew out of hers DH went and bought another pair of pink ones!! I was not happy. Anyway if they go on the turn I will send them back!

My black Hunters did this. I emailed them, and they suggested it was UV exposure but as I'd only worn them ONCE, I disagreed. Then they said, the wax or whathaveyou in them blooms sometimes, and to use their boot restorer. I dutifully bought some, and ... it didn't work.

I didn't have opportunity to return them as am not in UK, but if I were to buy them again, I would go for the patent look ones.

I would send them back if I were you and either ask for replacement in a patent/shiny model, or for a refund.

How funny, I saw a pair of white hunters in a charity shop today, but when I looked closely i saw the soles were pink.Confused

I thought maybe they were very pale pink and my eyes were shite.

I didn't buy them, even though they were my size & bargainous.

White wellies scream "slaughter house" or "morgue technician" to me!

slight hijack, but are hunters worth the dosh? usually use primark wellies but god, they are so uncomfortable.

"White wellies scream "slaughter house" or "morgue technician" to me!" pmsl so true!

I think UV exposure does this to all coloured wellies. I've had several pairs that I've left outside and they've gone all faded.

Probably better to go for traditional dark colours.

mamalovesmojitos - Hunters are really comfy so I suppose it depends how important that is to you.
