the back of my hands especially on the knuckles seem to look more dry and wrinkled by the day not helped by constant nappy changing followed by hand washing (all day long as my baby daughter obsessed with the wheels on the bus would say)
any thoughts on good hand cream which will make the backs of my hands less dry and wont wash off instantly i wash my hands

body shop hemp cream is the dogs bollocks of hand creams

Agree with ggirl (came on to suggest that) but it does leave you smelling of a crystal-ball-reading lentil-weaver.

L'Occtaine (sp?) SHEA BUTTER handcream is fantastic and I've tried loads.

You can buy it in debenhams and is about £15 a tube, it lasts ages.

Nutrogena is good but can feel greasy at times. Champneys and Sanctuary hand creams are nice.

My best ever purchase for those bleeding knuckle days Hmm has been Kiehls Ultimate hand salve.
I have tried ALL the others and this IMO is the best. Slight Eucalyptus smell but don't let that put you off. Doesn't even sting.
used to be about £11 and £17 for 50ml and 100ml.

If you're really nice/lucky (or they're feeling generous)you can get loads of samples at the same time.

E45? Or even vaseline if it's really bad?

Boots Botanics Overnight hand and nail cream. I use it all day.

I have been using a Dove one, its really effective and doesn't leave my hands too greasy.

I suspect the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Hand Cream is pretty special.

I once got the clarins handcream in a goodie bag and it's lovely - moisturises really well and smells nice too. I use the neutrogena one at work as well (hand cream addict). Olive oil is pretty good at a pinch too.
