Toast harem trousers

Hi, I love the new Toast catalogue and like their harem trousers. Has anyone tried them? Do you need to be a size 8 to get away with them? I"m a good 12 these days.... I had some of their peg top summer trousers and though wary of that shape at first grew to love them. But I've tried tunics and churidar type trousers in other shops and I think I'm too large for them so wondered if that was same for harem trousers....
Any experiences welcome before I splash out!

Oooh, I love them too. Don't they just look so serene and arty and cool .

Can't help much being a size 16 myself and far to chicken to go there (having only just considered anything other than bootlegs) but I love the way they look on other people. FWIW I saw a lady the other day wearing harems who must have been a size 14 and she looked pretty fab, sort of firm and confident body type, iyswim. Previous to that I'd been firmly in the they're-only-for-skinny-people camp, like you but now I'm realising there might be hope. Go for it!

they are dry clean only. It`s not really practical is it for something you might like to get a lot of wear out of before it goes out of fashion

Ooh good point. Have three kids so don't really do anything dry clean any more. Has anyone tried their churidar/tunic combination then?
