Dry shampoo. Fan or not?

I need to wash my hair every other day, but i've got really thick curly hair which i blow dry straight(ish) plus a very demanding 3 1/2 year old little madam, so I don't have the time. I usually wash it twice a week and have started using dry shampoo inbetween washes.

Has anyone heard it's actually bad for your hair cos it doesn't make sense to me clogging it with that talc like substance.

Also, which brand is the best? I use good old Batiste but it's so heavy and takes ages to get rid of the white bits, but it does work and it is cheap.Wink

Thanks :)

I use the batiste one about once week, haven't noticed me looking any greyer though, I brush it out thoroughly though. Life saver, for work mornings if I've been up throught the night with the baby, and would rather have 20 more mins in bed than wash my hair. (i have fairish hair with lots of grey though Confused)

Gold and silver shimmer? Confused

Why would you actually want to emphasis the dry shampoo?

Surely it's for those rushed mornings when you haven't got time to wash your hair before school run/work? I can just see the reactions if I step out with disco hair of a morning! Grin
