Hello everybody,

I am really interested in tea tree oil.
Has any body heard something about it or tried?

Thanks

I think it's fantastic stuff. Buy it in Chemists or health food shops. Get 100% oil (I've seen it sold diluted).

It's antiseptic - I have used it on cuts that were looking infected, and it sorts that out - dab on with a cotton bud. It is also the best thing I've tried for athlete's foot, as it is also anti-fungal.

Use it lots in this house most recently with a toenail infection but have used it on cuts, grazes, burns and the best one was a stobborn veruca that I spent a fortune having removed at the chiropodist. In the end I picked the scab off and doused it twice daily in Tea tree and it disappeared within days. Had been to the chiropodist 5 times for freezing.

It is also good for nits and tattoos.

Nice tip about the verrucca. They really are stubborn things. Will try tea tree oil next time

Thanks for the tips. It sounds that this tea tree oil is really good.
Does smbd knows how to keep it and how long it'd last once opened?

Would smbd know smth about tea tree oil for acne?

I use it on spots, it's fantastic. Buy the stuff from chemists though, 100%. Can use it straight on skin but don't overdo it, can dry you out a bit.
