by my lovely aged uncle, who says it is for me to spend on something frivolous for myself. (I love him so much!)

Do I spend it on getting my facial hair lasered? (Have handbags and boots galore, so it isn't going that way, alternative is to buy a painting from auction for my new house when I finally have one).

oh I was going to say buy a nice bag! If your facial hair is a real issue for you, go for it.

MichaelaFinnigan · 23/08/2010 16:57

Anyone had laser treatment?

see me, i would spend it on a spa day/weekend and get loads of treatments Grin

PYT · 23/08/2010 16:59

I'd spend it on having my teeth professionally whitened, so similar to laser hair removal. So yeh, I'd say go for that.

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/08/2010 17:00

I would have botox done.

MichaelaFinnigan · 23/08/2010 17:01

Botox? Hmm...maybe.

I have had laser - still going through it though.

I started having last year, but only had 2 sessions before I fell pregnant and had to stop. I had a session at the end of June and haven't needed one since.

I pay about 50 for my upper lip (I live in south London). If I went into Central London, it could be about 80, so hunt around.

MichaelaFinnigan · 23/08/2010 17:05

Chanie, is it working, is it worth it?

I would buy a bag! But if you already have lots of lovely bags then I say blow it on clothes. Have a lovely time doing so!

southeastastra · 23/08/2010 19:38

an antique

nancydrewrocked · 23/08/2010 19:46

I'd definitely buy art (I have my eye on a painting I saw in a local gallery - unfortunately when I eventually got the assistants attention she informed me it was £12,500!! Sad Clearly that was why I was being ignored!).

I have had lasering (although not on my face) it works best where the contrast between skin colour and hair colour is greatest so dark hair on fair skin, although if you are very fair and bruise easily results can be patcy.

Buy a lump of gold, and then sell it in a couple of years and double your money Smile

Oooh, an ipad definitely......

tethersegg · 18/04/2011 16:59

Go to the art college degree shows, pick up a painting and then get the worst bits of your facial hair lasered.

Problem solved.

tethersegg · 18/04/2011 17:26

Ah. I see. Flo is bumping old threads to advertise her gallery for free.

TurtlesAreRetroRight · 18/04/2011 17:31

I assume you've reported tethers? Don't want to bother HQ on a sunny day if it's done?

tethersegg · 18/04/2011 17:53

Yeah. I'm like the advertising stasi Grin
