PMSL

Tempted to buy 2 sets and wear 3 nipples at once Grin

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 23/08/2010 16:09

Grin But why? Do some people not have nipples?

SkylineDrifter · 23/08/2010 16:10

Do people actually buy these things? Weird or what....

Heartsease · 23/08/2010 16:11

I like it, GeekOfTheWeek. You could create all manner of carbuncles.

There'll be dildos in Waitrose next.

SkylineDrifter · 23/08/2010 16:11

Actually ItsAll, to be a bit serious, women who've had a mastectomy and reconstruction usually don't have nipples, though the NHS do supply stick on nipples if they want/need them.

Shirleyhandmaidenofthegibbet · 23/08/2010 16:12

You could put a few on to confuse people.

Heartsease · 23/08/2010 16:13

Oh yes, of course Skyline. I didn't mean to poke fun at that, I'm sorry if it looked thoughtless. It's the Selfridges' angle I find bizarre -- 'the natural look is back and nipples are in'? I'll pull the thread if it's upsetting, I'd hate that.

ShatnersBassoon · 23/08/2010 16:18

I don't think these are aimed at women with nipple problems or those post-surgery.

It's the fashion to have nipples, according to Selfridges. I'm going to buy some and go for a Sexy Scaramanga look. I'll get my money's worth if I only need to wear one a day.

lol at sb

SkylineDrifter · 23/08/2010 16:50

Heartsease no offence taken at all, and please don't pull the thread! Just thought I'd mention it. Have had BC myself, though happily didn't need full mastectomy, and I remembered it from when I was googling like mad at the time!

MrsMeow · 23/08/2010 17:19

Bloody hell! I'm fashionable for once, without even knowing!

Heartsease · 23/08/2010 18:05

Oh thanks for the reassurance SkylineDrifter! I hope you are very well now. Smile

Fine and dandy thanks Heartsease.

mmmperuna · 23/08/2010 18:20

Omfg Shock- and in Selfridges as well

goodtimesarecoming · 23/08/2010 18:23

As students, we used to cut up an empty paracetamol blister strip and make "nipples" for comedy effect.
That is a cheaper option for anyone taken with these!

vinovino · 23/08/2010 18:35

Oh these have been around for years! I bought some for a friend at school once, from a website (can't remember what website think it was I want one of those .com) 9 years ago! they became momentarily fashionable (yes, really) after one of the sex and the city characters wore them. I bought them for my friend as she had a nipple phobia Grin

MamaVoo · 23/08/2010 19:24

Knowing my luck they'd slip and I'd spend the day looking like I had some kind of hernia.

GoldPlated · 23/08/2010 19:31

WTF? Am I the only woman mortified by surprisingly chilly breezes on an otherwise warm day?

I just can't believe people would want to show the world erect nipples.

moragbellingham · 23/08/2010 19:40

OMG NO! I used to hide when I came out of the walk-in fridge at work.

create · 23/08/2010 19:46

It's offical - I am now way too old.

I spend an unreasonable amount of time and effort making sure there is nothing to see as a result of the office air-conditioning....
