Returning Make-Up to Selfridges

Does anyone know if you can return make-up? I bought a load of stuff yesterday in Selfrdiges, still have the receipt - will they take it back?

Has it been opened or used? If not, then I imagine they'd take it back.

I think it depends why. If faulty or damaged then definitely yes they have to. (e.g I once bought something and when I got it home it had a big fingerprint on the actual make up!)

If you have just changed your mind then I think probably they will say no for hygiene reasons as they could not guarantee you hadn't used it so they couldn't resell it.

If it is still sealed up (i.e. in that sort of tamper proof wrapping) then they may well take it back.

It is unused but there is no way to be sure of that as it didn't have any kind of tamper proof seal...ebay here I come I guess!

Yes it was the same brand, I may well give them a ring tomorrow.
