trench coat....HELP!!

im driving myself mad trying to decide on a trench coat...just want a basic,well fitting,go with everything type,anyone got any suggestions?!

I think I would choose with a liner for the colder days.
They are nice. I have noticed they have nice jeans for a good price. But I would rather try them in store first. My DH has a waterproof jacket from Uni Qlo for £25.00 and it is really nice. Has been wearing for a few years already.
