Are we liking the ladies fat face clothing? have just had the latest catalogue and theres quite a few things i like this time, the last few seasons were weird.

It looks like it could be ideal SAHM clothing for those of us that dont follow the latest fashions.

I'm liking the navy straight legged cords and jeans, the basic long sleeved tee, the checkered shirt and a couple of the tunics.

I was in the shop the other day.
Lots of the clothes are very nice but nothing I loved enough to buy.

BelligerentGhoul · 20/08/2010 20:06

Not looked at it recently but generally think it's really horrible, sorry.

Autumndew · 20/08/2010 20:07

i don`t like it either and even the name puts me off

NorbertDentressangle · 20/08/2010 20:07

A few months ago it was all garish bright blue, green and orange, not very nice at all - have they toned it down a bit now?

neolara · 20/08/2010 20:10

I hadn't been in Fat Face for years but got sent the catalogue and was pleasantly surprised. I liked quite a lot of it. (Although this may not be a good thing as I fashion generally passes me by.)

Cicatrice · 20/08/2010 20:12

Yes, I saw the catalogue and there were a few things that I fancied. Recently it has been garish but I always need nice long sleeved tshirts or fleeces.

Need to wait till payday though.

Generally, I love their stuff.

LostArt · 20/08/2010 21:16

I can't wear their stuff. If I buy anything from Fat Face, I can guarantee that at least six other mums would be wearing the same top/dress at the school gates. Of course, all of them would be younger, thinner and taller than me, and generally wear it with more style than I could ever hope to. I have to stick to 'unique' pieces. Grin

I love their stuff - and we have an outlet here, so I'm a happy bunny. Their stuff is relaxed and very casual, which suits me - I don't do tight or figure hugging (it scares the local children)

ShadeofViolet · 20/08/2010 21:35

I just purchased a grey/purple striped cardigan from there which I love.

2msmum · 20/08/2010 21:52

Love stuff generally but not sure about quality over recent years - lots of little holes appearing in fabrics - has anyone else found this?

TheDoodler · 20/08/2010 22:00

Lostart - sadly where i live that is true of our very local Matalan Grin Evey mum at the school gate is dressed in the same thing the mannequin has on in the window (just down our road).

I love FF but it's getting embarassing when I go in there now as I am usually wearing at least one FF ite and I just look so unorgininal!

I love casualwear for camping and dog walking. In fact, I rarely wear anything else!

purplepeony · 23/08/2010 12:51

We had the cataologue delivered and I swear that if I didn't look at the cover, I'd have sworn it was White Stuff! You couldn't put a cigarette paper between them now!

miche8 · 25/08/2010 11:32

well my nearly £500 order arrived (not all for me dp aswell) and every item is going back. the sizing is all over the place, the arms are skinny and really long, the necks are very low, and the body is wide. i'm an apple shape too, so tops are usually tight across the tummy. the tunics/knitted dresses also stuck out on the thighs as though you needed saddle bags. And the legs on the jeans were twisted.

the mens trousers in reg were about 4inches too long, how odd.

And the free delivery code didnt work.
