Have an interview at new look tomorrow morning.

Any suggestions for what to wear? I'm guessing i need to look really up to date, so what's really now

have bought Look magazine for ideas. Can't afford/no time to buy anything new, so more about the way I put it together, accessories etc.

might be a bit late now but i would have looked at what they were wearing in the store where your interview is....my local small nl is staffed with older/bigger ladies who dont seem to be even wearing the latest trends/nl gear, and the bigger nearby store are all wearing the latest stock.

I guess you dont need to be wearing head to toe nl but something they will remember as being from nl. Not sure if you should wear denim though even though i've seen staff wearing it, skinny trousers or chinos maybe?

Good luck

Thanks, I did make a note when I handed the form in. Lots of lace and black jersey. But not sure I've got any of that.

Was thinking possibly a side plait in my hair? or I will just ear it down- dark brown, curly, shoulder length.

Trousers are a problem. I know what you mean about denim, but the smartest, trendiest looking trousers I've got a dark denim skinny trousers.

I have got some charcoal classic style trousers. Slightly bootcut, flat front. If I wear that with the top as the focus will probably be ok?

Perhaps dark smart denim would be ok, it is for a fashion job after all or your dark trousers would be fine...and yes now i think of it lace is in quite a few stores, do any of your friends have a suitable top? or leggings and biker boots?

Do you have any scarves? or a statement necklace, i've been reading a blog and the girl wheres a plain tee, usually black, navy, grey or white and then a statement scarf/necklace - looks good, mind you shes very pretty.

Plait in the hair, sounds great.

Dont forget nice hands/nails, bag and shoes.

I do think your outfit needs to be something you could wear while working in nl, rather than suit/smart trousers/shirt outfit that you would wear for an office interview.

Hopefully someone else will be along with more advice, remember smile and be bubbly.
