Does Brown and Grey Go Together ?

I have just said in a post i dont think it does but i have read some posts in the last few days swearing it goes well. May i have some examples please as i do love both these colours but cant think of an outfit i like with both

I don't think it does, but depends on the tones and types of grey or brown combos. They are often too close. Especially if it's a browny grey and a greyish brown IYSWIM.

A bold or russet ish brown and pale grey could...I think i've done this!

Yes, sometimes it does - like a mouse - minky brown/pale grey, or as my DH described my hair once

I think brown goes well with grey marl. I'd do the grey on top.

yes.Bwown and grey is the right combination- grey and black is not. it goes back a long way my mum says her father- who would be about 110 were he alive- was advised to wear brown shoes with grey suits.

A grey marl t-shirt/cami and brown skirt/shorts/cropped trousers is one of my summer staples. And a pale grey jumper looks good with brown moleskin or velvet jeans.

What I don't think looks so good is a brown top with "flat grey" trousers, if you know what I mean.

yes. I think pale grey and a warm tan or camel is a really nice and expensive looking combo.

Also agree with vesela about the marl grey + brown skirt/shorts/trousers - tis very Gap basic, I believe :)
