What dress style suits a petite boyish figure??

I need a dress or skirt and top for a wedding in september. I bought the FCUK daisy rouched one but DH has now pronounced that it doesn't suit me.

I 5ft 3" and slim with only slight waist, bust, hips. I seem to suit shift dresses I think or ones with a neckline that cuts straight across (boat neckline?) as I have bonyish shoulders and neck. Any ideas what will suit this shape?
