Ok I know rainwear is not the most stylish items on the market, but if its raining and cold you look even dafter not wearing a rain jacket.

So I've spotted this which I like. But before hitting the buy button, I thought I'd ask you fashion gurus.

So is it hideous?

Oh and yes it doesn't appear to have a hood, which is a problem if its raining, but I could get a posh umbrella, or I suspect in that big collar is a fold away hood I could use in emergencies. And I have a hat of the same colour.

I really like this jacket and the price is fab. Not sure if the high neck would annoy me though...would like to see how that sits when the top of the zip is open. I have a high neck wool coat and it's a nightmare as there's always makeup on the collar.

No bum coverage and you will look as though you are concealing a neck brace. Which will be handy if you are wearing a neck brace, but not such a fab look if you are not.

Serendipitously I just received an email from House of Fraser with a free delivery code (BESPOILT) so have ordered it anyway.

I have quite a nice bum in jeans so don't mind showing it off. They have a longer version in red but only have an 18 which is too big for my slender self

Wet bottoms are not fun.

But don't worry about a hood - much easier and more stylish to have a decent rainhat.

YOur bum may look great in it, but it won't be dry in a downpour. Also neck very very strange....
