autum / winter and shoe boots.....?????

There seem to be alot of shoe boots like this in the shops right now and I really like them BUT how do you wear them for autum / winter? My feet would be FREEZING without socks but you just can't because of the peep toe!

Not to mention wet toes. Having the same problem trying to get some nice mid heel shoes I can wear for work.

oh yeah hadn't even thought about wet toes! I really like them though.....
