Are Uggs cheaper in the states?

Im not into them (although I have never tried any on) but I was thinking of buying them as Christmas Presents for my nieces whilst I am there. Are they cheaper? are they appropriate for three tree climbing girls or will they just get ruined?

I think it depends where you go in the US. When I was in Las Vegas they were only marginally cheaper than UK prices. However, I have heard that they are cheaper in New York and Florida.

I don't think that they are appropriate for tree climbing girls though. I even take care not to wear mine unless the weather is dry and you need to be careful if wearing dark jeans if it rains incase they get damaged by the dye
