A maxi dress with your wellies.

I didn't do a maxidress for festival cos worried about all the muck/rubbish collecting on it! I would say dress and wellies tho. Maybe leggings in case of unseasonable chill?

JamInMyWellies · 18/08/2010 21:35

Like the shorter dress option is there any nice tea style dresses left on teh shelves though?

Mm, don't get out much as live in sticks,so not been in shops recently. Favour TK Maxx tho for cheap yet pretty frocks that won't matter if they get beer/red wine/mud on them! Red lipstick and sunglasses and you're away..

i did V last year and isle of wight this year, you'd be amazed at how seriously the girls take it. I usually wear denim shorts with cowboy boots and the like. Anything goes really as long as u comfortable. Loads of maxi dresses, I wear mine with boots or wellies.

Its gets cold at night so a hoodie good idea.

At the festival I went to recently most of the girls were wearing long socks under wellies but showing the tops and denim shorts, nice tops, they looked great. Would also work with a pretty shortish dress. I would say no to maxi dresses last year as the place was very muddy but dryer this year so could have got away with it.

o, and a scarf v handy to take as will keep you warm or keep sun off if hot-save the back of the neck burn.

here, cheap as chips

Remotew · 19/08/2010 11:18

Clure, nice dress. Bet we haven't got it to try on in our local store but will have a look.

Have ordered a few tea style dresses from Joy so can do layering and the weather is looking fairly dry so hopefully no need for wellies. Hurrah!
