One I can wear every day over leggings or skinny jeans.I need to be able to throw it in the wash, and possibly wear a cardi over if it gets a bit cold.

Am I akking too much?

I ordered one in the Boden sale, and it made me look like Zainab from East Enders. Sad

Please help!

I've just order one from white stuff, and i'm probably going to order a couple from boden and warehouse.

Zainab from eastenders is not the look i'm going for - i fear they only suit the tall and thin, and i am neither.

I think The White Company is my only hope, but they seem a bit pricey, or maybe I'm just feeling tight.

I ordered a couple from the White Company. Quality is fantastic. this is a good everyday tunic but makes me look about 6mth pregnant - just too much fabric! this is gorgeous but I need a second opinion re the shape versus my shape!! And actually, now that I'm looking I'm going to order this to try and compare with the rib tunic. The shape might be better for me.

Heck, you'd think I was made of money ... I have to hide the delivery men from DH Grin!!!

I've not yet had a 20% code for white company, so maybe i will wait.

Millie1 - i love the tunics you linked too, but i worry i will ruin them, can't wash knitted things, do you not get that itchy scratch feeling? cant wear wooly things next to my skin.

What size/shape are you?

employmentlawquery · 17/08/2010 17:48

M and S? Cotton? with a drapy cardie over if it's cold? very cheap and easy, I got some in the summer sale in blues and purples. I went for very, very plain styles, not Boden flashy style prints, and will wear with interesting boots and belts.

employmentlawquery · 17/08/2010 17:55

Autograph - I would only go for plain ones. I like navy myself.

Anything here

employmentlawquery · 17/08/2010 18:14

Ah, sorry, those don't appear to be natural fibre. I note however that bunjies has linked to some very fetching tunics/short dresses available from Gap. Which is now online.

Millie1 · 17/08/2010 19:10

Miche - the second tunic I linked to is jersey and would be easy peasy to wash ... I presume!!!! I love wool - the first tunic feels so luxurious. Size/shape? 5'7", 8/10 but with a tummy complements of 4 children!! So, I need to apply a bit of thought.

I ordered some in the Boden sale and they all looked awful.Great Plains have some tunics in and the shapes are good on me[Size 12/14]as do La Redoute.M&S had lots of good tunics last year[but do not have them in yet]
I am currently on holiday in Asia and have bought lots of tunics in cashmere/wool mixes as they are arround 10 pounds in warehouse shops. My winter wardrobe is sorted already[the shop assistants eyes light up when they see me!]

Great Plains still have some left in the sale!.The Spring Bloom dress is lovely on [made out of Bamboo],but is a light-weight knit tunic. There is also a stripy tunic still available.I ordered pink ,red and navy a while ago as the shape was so flattering on.Tbw i am a bit horrified by the White Company prices whilst liking the styles!
