White Company & dare I mention it B**** orders

Got a tonne of stuff from Boden & the White Company.

Firstly, this White Company tunic, in the Mole colour. It's nice on but the gathers continue around the back which makes it quite full. Think I like it though ... the quality is brilliant. What to wear it with? I'm thinking black (as that's what White Co show in pcis) wool tights or wool/knitted leggings along with boots. Boots - being either black long or, if I save enough pennies, [[http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/KG+Sadler+boots/141692639,default,pd.html?cgid=03 these}} - although maybe they're too chunky and the wrong colour?????? As always, advice needed Grin!

Okay, onto that B word ... Boden. DISAPPOINTING! The few bits I ordered for the children are okay - nice cord skirts for the girls and a couple of tops/jeans for the boys. Womenswear - wow! Same old, same old. Long V-neck jumper is too long, knitted henley is (on me anyway) baggy and a poor shape and light, light, light fabric; various long-sleeved t-shirts - nothing to write home about. Like the uptown top - it is flattering. This is nice on too www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/Womens-Dresses/Above-Knee-Dresses/WH227/Womens-Printed-Cord-Dress.html?NavGroupID=4 and I'll probably keep it. Ordered the Favourite mini in denim and pink ... I've got a bit of a tummy and it's so high-waisted that it does nothing to disguise it. I do want a denim-style (not necessarily denim colour!) above knee, casual skirt so any suggestions welcome. Oh, and this is surprisingly nice on with jeans www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/Womens-Tops-T-shirts/3_4-Sleeved-Tops/WA277/Womens-Printed-Tucked-Top.html?NavGroupID=18

So, basically a repeat of everyone else's experiences and I certainly didn't sort out my winter wardrobe. I'd say 2 keepers and 1 or 2 maybes. However, having had a couple of days in the city browsing, the shops might be more fun for winter shopping Grin!

Would appreciate opinions on the White Co tunic though!

I love that tunic Millie. I've got my eye on the White Company cashmere coat but don;t really want to pay that much.

That tunic is lovely.

Not keen on the boots that you linked to, I would prefer long and black, but that is just me.

Love the tunic but it looks at bit empire line which would in turn make me look pg.
