I think there should actually be a Boden topic but MNHQ said it wouldn't be fair to their competitors.

Whoamireally · 17/08/2010 14:11

It's not so much the volume, it's the repetitiveness - they're all on more or less the same topics. Don't go, Mary! Grin

miche8 · 17/08/2010 14:12

Sorry i just started another.

Whoamireally · 17/08/2010 14:15

Sorry just replied to it Blush

seeker · 17/08/2010 14:18

5 am convinced that it's viral marketing - I wouldn't put it past Johnnie.......!

vintage3 · 17/08/2010 14:18

i could talk about Boden all day not sure why

pagwatch · 17/08/2010 14:20

Maryqueenofchocs · 17/08/2010 14:25

lyns2 · 17/08/2010 14:41

personally I love flicking though boden catalogue but cant afford anything in it :(
so if anyone is looking to get rid of some old boden gear then chuck it my way ;-)

PawMum · 17/08/2010 14:41

I am rather bereaft because I was going to order childrens wellies out of the joules sale today and they were updating their website this morning and now the sale has gone
gah!

though this has nothing to do with boden

HonestyBox · 17/08/2010 14:46

I don't get it with Boden on here, it is just another shop. I think it is the text that they write around the products such as the titles etc. 'flippy', 'flirty' - just think about it, if it were clothes in a shop you wouldn't get all that, you'd just judge the clothes as clothes. I also think it is the thrill of getting parcels in the post.

purplepeony · 17/08/2010 15:02

Honesty- the fact that it is 99% mail order has a lot to do with it; not the thrill factor though, just trying to get feedback on items before you order.

PawMum · 17/08/2010 15:03

oh yes, i love Joe Browns for the thrill factor of getting that little parcel

They write even dafter stuff than boden though which makes me think i am too old to be ordering from thereBlush

vintage3 · 17/08/2010 15:50

see i might like Joe Browns but their stuff in the catalogue always looks too wrinkled to me so i never venture on their website. White Company has a lovely website shops in real life are ..so serene Brora is my top catalogue for airy fairyness .I love it and as for that Toast mini film..

princesssusu · 17/08/2010 15:53

I'm not a viral marketeer, honest.

PawMum · 17/08/2010 16:41

oh I love white stuff too but I can only afford their sales:o

joe browns is actually pretty good stuff

wrigglytummy · 17/08/2010 17:29

I have decided to send back my entire boden order as I am fed up with it having read so much about it on here - I'm about to start exploring the alternatives for something different to wear and not look the same as the other mums!!

vintage3 · 17/08/2010 19:34

hardly anyone around here wears it. If i started bumping into women wearing the same outfit as me i would not be so keen on it
