When you say redness, do you mean blushing or is it there all the time?

I only ask cos I always blush Blush and it's a real pain.

If it's always there I know there are treatments around. You're best bet is to go to your GP first.

Also, as a quick fix there are some really good cover up foundations on the market now.Wink

I used to get flushing time to time and then after few years it became cronic, went to my GP and used to take medication for about 5 years, but I still had the condition until I went to the pulse light clinic, oh my God they are so good, even my son noticed he said to me the other day, mum what have you done to your skin? "you are not red any more" SmileI thought that was so cute!

Josey - Would you mind me asking what meds you took?

I've looked into surgery but am slightly worried about the surgeon cutting too much/wrong nerve and facial paralysis risk!

Treatment I guess depends on if the redness is skin or nerve based.

I'd like some light treatment for redness from thread veins on my nose.

Hi There,

I have tryed a few of them such as
metronidazole, tetracycline and erythromycin, all these has never done anything to my skin, I would never had a surgery as all my redness are almost completely gone after having only 4 IPL treatments from Sheila, I really think the redness is a dilation of blood vessels and not the nerve.

Have a look the Rosacea video on they website she explain a lot about it..its Pulse light clinic

Good luck! Smile

I'ver heard something about pulse light treatment but never tried, a friend of mine had spots marks on her cheeks and I saw her last week she looked great! I have mild rosacea as well that I want to treat but cannot afford much money...as being a single parent is not easy Blush

I have the same problem, mine are broken veins, but I think the redness is broken veins isn't it?

I'd love to get my skin sorted! specially now that I am single again and looking for a new man Smile
